I think he liked traveling there just to travel somewhere new, but the traffic congestion was terrible he said. He only walked around the red square area once, but will maybe get to return in the future. Although, he said the city is so spread out and there isn't alot of touristy stuff...but he was only there a short time! What did you like about it?
Yeah, the traffic is infamous! You just learn not to drive during rush hours. The city is HUGE, but most of the touristy stuff is centralized around the Red Square area. Other stuff is an easy metro ride (maybe helps I read Russian!); Gorky Park, the art museum, the Orthodox Church hq, and all the tours you can take in and around Red Square and the Kremlin! You can spend a weekend around that area easily! Did he see Lenin!?!? I saw him on my 28th bday! haha.
Cool! I want to hear about his Moscow trip! It's still one of my favorite cities in the world!
