Getting back to normal

Ian had his cast removed on Wednesday following x-rays which showed that the fracture is nearly complete in healing!  It will be stronger than ever! For now, Ian is dragging his legs behind him instead of properly crawling because that is what he became accustomed to with the cast. He is standing sometimes and simply working on regainging trust and strength in the leg...

Unfortunately, he hasn't adapted well to Dutch time, but he is getting there.  Mommy did have the pleasure of watching him play at 3am one night, too!  What fun! 

Ian also got an etch-a-sketch, since he enjoyed his aunt Kirsten's so much while in the states!  Now, we just need some ponies - something Ian also liked playing with, but maybe just because he could upset his aunt by doing so!  ;-)
